13.1 Introduction: Why Privacy Matters to The Company

The Company provides this privacy policy to let our Users know how the information collected from them will be used and disseminated through the Service.

This also includes the preferences and settings that you enable for your Company account.

Payment Information: If you use the Service to make payments, we may also collect certain payment information, such as credit card, PayPal, Swipe, or other financial institution information which may be shared with these organizations to facilitate payments, including unique account reference numbers.

3. Usage data: Information concerning how you use the IMechano app and the Services.

4. Marketing and Communications Data: It includes your preference to receive marketing information from us.

5. Aggregate Data: aggregate data may be collected and used, which may not directly or indirectly reveal your identity, for example, the percentage of Users accessing a specific Service. Should any aggregate data be combined with data that directly or indirectly identify you it will be treated as personal data and be regulated in accordance with this privacy notice.

6. Browser Data: is data concerning your browser language, IP address, time and date of visit, your browser version and platform and so forth, for statistical, security, and legal purposes.

13.4. How Is Your Personal Data Collected

1. Information obtained directly from you: Most of your personal data is collected from the information that you provide us with when accessing the app and opening a User Account. We also collect data when payments are made, requests are made for marketing information or you contact our customer care.

Information we obtain from interaction with the app and the Services: As you interact with the Services and the app we can collect technical data concerning how you interact with the Services, for example, IP addresses and your usage of the app and the Services. This information assists the Company in providing the best possible service to you.

9. Information Sharing, Disclosure & Third Parties

To support our operations, we rely on several third-party service providers to help us with various services such as payment processing, web audience analysis, cloud hosting, marketing, communication, etc. We rely on PayPal, Stripe, Square, and Authorize.net for payment processing. Customer name, email, and details of the order are shared with the respective third-parties. We also share information with OVH for data storage purposes.

13.6. Deletion of User Account and Information

The Company requires information contained on your User Account in order to provide the Services, and retains such information for as long you maintain your User Account.

1. The Company retains certain information, including transaction, location, device, and usage information, for a minimum of 1(one) year, after the termination of a User Account in connection with regulatory, tax, insurance, and other requirements in the places in which it operates.

2. Once such information is no longer necessary to provide the Services, enable customer support, enhance the User experience, or other operational purposes, the Company takes steps to prevent access to or use of such information for any purpose other than compliance with these requirements or for purposes of safety, security, fraud prevention, and detection.

3. You may request the deletion of your User Account at any time through the Privacy Settings in the Company app, or via the Company’s app.

4. Following such a request, the Company removes the information that it is not required to retain for the Services, however, deletion of your User Account will result in the automatic termination of your access to the Service.

5. In certain circumstances, the Company may be unable to delete your account, such as if there is an outstanding credit on your account or an unresolved claim or dispute. Upon resolution of the issue preventing deletion, The Company will delete your account as described above.

6. The Company may also retain certain information if necessary for its legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing Users’ safety and security. For example, if the Company shuts down a User Account because of unsafe behavior or security incidents, the Company may retain certain information about that account to prevent that User from opening a new Company account in the future.


13.7. What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?

We are compelled to collect and use your personal information because of:

1. Processing of Personal Information is Necessary

The processing of personal information is necessary for the Company to provide the Service for the following reasons:

a) User Account information that is necessary to establish and maintain your account, including verifying the identity of the User, so that we may communicate with you concerning the Services.

b) Payment information contained on your User Account is necessary for the payment of the Services and for any renewals thereof.

2. Legitimate Interest to The Company

a) The parties are aware that due to the nature and volume of transactions, including sensitive information such as credit card, debit card and similar information, for the purposes of facilitating payments with our Third Party Providers listed at Section 7 above , personal information is retained to mitigate the risk of fraud and report any perpetrators to the relevant authorities.

b) Personal information shall accordingly be retained in order to maintain the network security of the Company platform, so that any parties attempting to hack or compromise the network security may be reported to the relevant authorities.

You have the right to include as many users to the Application, as the Company may allow from time to time, however, you or the party responsible for managing the Personal User Account is responsible for always maintaining secure records of the username and password to avoid unauthorized access.

*Password Security*

We use industry-standard one-way password encryption to protect User passwords on the app.

*Secure Data Centers*

The Company uses off-site data centers that have strict physical access controls. These controls include 24/7/365 monitoring and surveillance, and on-site security staff.

*Credit Card Safety*

We do not store your credit card information and this information is transmitted securely between you and our third-party providers, based on your preferred payment method (PayPal, Stripe, etc.)

*Security Testing and Monitoring*

The Company’s security team continuously monitors security systems, event logs, notifications, and alerts from all systems to identify and manage threats.

*Backups*

We keep full backups of each database on the following basis: one hourly backup every day, one daily for seven days, and one a week for four weeks.
